 I decided to take my sister out to a lovely dinner with Veona last week.  She does a lot for us and keeps Veona over night maybe 1x a month.  Veona loves Aunt Amy and her house.  So we took her for a very nice dinner.  We later went shopping.  It was so fun and a heart warming night...

 Angry and baking all day.  Ha it was so much work but I did have fun and Veona was helping here and there.  However, 7 hours of baking is not easy!

Cookie time!  If you can't run with the big dogs then sit on the porch.  A quote my father always told us growing up.  May just be why I am so determined, competitive, and motivated.  Anywho I baked over 300 cookies all homemade!  Look at the progress.  Gave many as gifts and for my sister for her fellow Dr.s at the hospital she works at.

 New wooden dollhouse pieces from Melissa and Doug.  So the only thing that went awry on xmas was that her huge dollhouse I bought was broken:((( I was devastated to say the leaste.  Turned out she was ok with that and played with her other one.  I ended up getting her another small plastic one until I research a great wooden one.  Maybe her birthday:)  I want a good quality wood one so I am going to do some online searching!

 Our modest Christmas and our home this year.  We had Xmas eve at the Sisters with more gifts and at Daves for lots more gifts as well:)  We spent most of our Christmas with his family:)

 Dave got her the new mobigo 2 since her first one broke because of her using it so much and she got water on it.  She just adores this and has so many games that she can use from her 1st one!  She says this is her second favorite toy and number 1 being the Furby.  Dave had the top 2 gifts this year!!!  She said her dollhouse was 3 I was a little bummed haha.

 Dave always showers me with lots of loving, fun, personal, useful, and awesome gifts.  He knows my love for organic bath products so he got me lots of lush bathbombs and products!!!  This santa one I used Xmas morning and it was so RAd.  It split in half and turned green!!!

 One of Veona's awesome toys from his parents.  They really realllyyyyyyy spoiled her beyond belief this year!!!  This was a really cool princess set that you can dress them, decorate them, and put them on stage.  You can use the magnetic dresses to exchange between the three princess and put stickers and purses on them.  We both had fun playing with this!

 A neat edit I did of one of my favorite gifts from Dave.  The pixoramic app on iphone let me make this awesome.  I just loved my coffin necklace because various reasons.  Here is the story behind this meaningful piece.  I had the pleasure of working along side a very talented woman named Lynn the artist behind UnaOdd.

Her display was captivating, lovely, and so inspiring on many levels.

I was to her right.  We laughed how our items were so different yet looked neat next to each other.

She was smart, fun, pretty, and very talented.  We were along side of each-other at our Indie Made Craft market show in December 1/2.  We talked laughed and compared each-others mediums and just really had a wonderful time.  Dave came to help me pack up the last day because I was exhausted and wanted to show him stuff.  He knew I wanted these wine glass earrings that are shaped like circles from real wine bottles.  He then noticed Lynns collection and we were just awwwing over her amazing craftsmanship and talent and mediums she works in.  I knew right away when I saw the coffin I wanted it!  He surprised me and got it when he thought I wasn't looking haha.  I knew he would get it for me because I just adored it.  I am so thankful and love her work.  Great to support other artists and love this piece so much!

Also, I was across from bubbledog too and his stuff is great!  He makes awesome magnets and pillows and bags and cards.  I got some guinea pig stuff from him for Veona.  Monster look a like!
Its so flattering to have so many people love your items and be surrounded by such talent like at this show.  I am very happy.

  New Cameos I just took to the alternative gallery.  I was told I am the top seller there and am doing so well!! I am so happy and just very flattered.  To be surrounded by all kinds of amazing artists and other artisans is humbling.

December Cheer

Hey all,

So my blog has been acting funny and would not let me post pictures really so I just did not post.  Im sorry as I did want to share so much stuff.  And was and currently am very busy as im sure most of you are this time of year.  For me it was a tripple whammy though because of college papers, finals, Pure Sin shows( 7 of them in fact) and Businesses that wanted Pure Sin items there to sell, and Xmas shopping for loved ones of course.  On top of awesome Mommy and family time with Veona.  Plus we were both very sick the last month.  I am happy to announce that I ended this semester with a 3.7 gpa and two A's and a B.  That being an A in speech/public speaking, A religion, and B in nutrition.  Very happy since I got two 97% on my 10 page papers as well.  Gosh sometimes I forget I do have some brains haha!  Also very proud to announce I currently have 54.5 credits which means I am 5.5 credits away from my ASSOCIATES DEGREE.  Yes!!!!!  Feels so great.  

I must add it has been a great year!  Love, happiness, business, and just plain old beauty in so may forms.  Business has blown my mind and really just flourished.  I took my stats last night from my online Etsy store for Pure Sin and it has a remarkable 24,023 views, 1,911 favorites, and 277 sales. Sold items to: MD, MA, CA, OH, MI, PA, TX, VA, AZ, SC, MN, OK, IN, MA, FL, NY, AL, TN, OR, CT, MI, NC, GA, WI, NE, ME, IL, LA, OH, WV, NM, AK, WA, NJ, and Italy, Brazil, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden. Pretty cool that 34 states in the US and 10 different countries have bought Pure Sin items!!!  I am so blessed.  This is just online information also.  Not including the 50 shows I have done in the last 3 years,other stores my items sell at, and word of mouth!  So happy and humbled by all the happy customers and fans.

I just made this new Xmas Card today because I ran out of our photo ones for everyone so I made these which I drew on my sketchbook app on my Iphone:)  Gosh I just love this thing;)  My phone has been such a great new thing with business, simplicity with information at my fingertips, and cool educational games for Veona and I.  So rad!
Owls are special to us three.  Not only is Veona's room all owl and other awesome items she has but I have always liked owls and Dave is doing many illustrations with them too.  Lots of owls everywhere in our lives.

We have made lots of cool things this past week and I will share them soon.  I can post from my phone to this blog but it is just not as organized and I rush.  However, I will;)  

My beloved poinsettia bow,  I sold some at shows and made one for my sister.  I miss my grandmother like crazy and this is such a reminder of her.  It is a bittersweet time of year since I always think of her when I see these and my tattoo reminds me everyday of her.  She is smiling down on us from heaven.  We baked a lot this week and cooked.  Veona just loves to be by my side and do that:)  It brings me great joy.

 My show on December 7th for the Emmaus Holiday Cheer.  It was my first event that I had to serve wine for.  Haha interesting.  It was rainy outside so not many came out but I love supporting my hometown and the arts.  I have many great things to come with Pure Sin and the Emmaus Art Scene.  I have been asked to be on the Emmaus Art Committee, which I am thrilled about and so passionate about.  I am to bring more alternative and edgy art to Emmaus.  I am very pleased to announce I will be holding my own art/craft show at a local coffee shop on May 19th called Funky Findingz art and craft show.  This has been a goal of mine for the last 3 years and since I am very deep in the art scene and know many around here who are apart of it in the Lehigh Valley it shall be great.  About 20 other artists will be there!!!!I also will be painting with my amazing boyfriend Dave the Emmaus Windows during the snowblast festival in February.  Thousands of people gather to town to see ice sculptures made from chainsaws, an ice bar, music, food, and artists present.  We will be doing this in front of many people and we are so excited and blessed.  We both really rock;)

It has been an extremely blink of an eye busy November.  So sorry it has been nearly a month since I have shared great things with you.  School, my daughter, fun stuff, Pure Sin, and other things have filled my schedule to capacity and I have not had the good time to organize it all into a blog yet.  Also I had bronchitis for a whole week and the stomach flu omg it was horrid.  I was terrible sick and am still just on the cusp of back to normal.  I wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and keep an eye out soon for a great big rad post!
